Therapy for people who are carrying a lot.
Individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, burnout, relationships, parenting, career changes, and the pressures of a full life.

You don't have to wait until things fall apart.
You may be successful on paper and still feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck.
You might be the person everyone relies on. You are the parent, partner, professional, leader, or friend who keeps everything moving even when you're running on empty.
Maybe you've reached a point where the strategies that used to work aren't working anymore. Or maybe nothing is particularly "wrong," but you know something needs to change.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface, and create meaningful change.

Therapy for thoughtful, high-functioning adults
At Austin Roots Therapy and Consulting I work with adults who are navigating the pressures of work, relationships, parenting, achievement, and change. Therapy for people who want more than simply getting through the day.

When your mind won't slow down, even when everything looks fine from the outside.

When you're still getting everything done, but you're exhausted from holding it all together.

When the patterns that helped you succeed are beginning to come at a cost.

Making sense of changes in career, family, relationships, identity, or direction.

Understanding patterns that affect how you connect with the people who matter most.

Creating space for yourself while navigating the demands and complexities of caring for others.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, with practical tools drawn from approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness when they're helpful.
Together, we'll explore not only what you're experiencing, but the patterns and relationships that may be shaping it.

I help therapists, psychiatrists, and behavioral health leaders navigate growth, operations, new programs, and major business decisions. I bring firsthand experience building a $7M+ behavioral health organization from the ground up.
You don't have to figure it all out alone.
If you're considering therapy or consulting let's talk! Before we begin, I'd love to hear a little about what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping for. A brief 10-minute consultation gives us a chance to connect, make sure my experience and approach are a good match for your needs, and decide where to go from there.
