What happens when being capable starts to feel exhausting?

Maybe you're the person who gets things done. You're responsible, successful, and accustomed to handling a lot. People count on you, and you're probably used to counting on yourself. But lately, you're tired.

Maybe you're overwhelmed by things that never used to bother you. You're more irritable, less present, or finding it difficult to enjoy the life you've worked so hard to create.

And sometimes the hardest part is wondering: Why am I struggling when everything is supposed to be okay?

When Success Comes at a Cost

Achievement isn't the problem. Ambition, responsibility, and high standards can be wonderful qualities.

But sometimes the rules we've learned along the way become difficult to turn off:

I should be able to handle this.

I can't let anyone down.

Once I get through this, things will slow down.

        Except there's always something else.

Therapy can give you a place to step outside that cycle and ask what you actually need. We can explore the patterns that keep you pushing, striving, and taking care of everyone else—and whether they're still serving you.

The goal isn't to make you less ambitious. It's to help you build a life where your accomplishments don't come at the expense of your relationships, your health, or your ability to enjoy your life.

You Don't Have to Keep Holding It All Together

You don't have to wait until you're completely burned out to ask for help. We can start with a conversation about what's going on and see if I'm the right person to help.
